EMBRACE THE RACE® and Epona Racing Stable to Host Veitch and Brown in Racing Dialogue

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (April 25, 2011).  EMBRACE THE RACE® and Epona Racing Stable are proud to host “Preparing for Success in the Equine Industry,” an event open to the public that will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 6 PM, at the Seven Horse Pub, located at 43 Phila Street, Saratoga Springs, New York.

“Optimism, spring and horse racing all go hand in hand.  From New York to Kentucky and beyond, there exists a world of opportunities for people to participate in and enjoy the sport of horse racing.  We are proud to partner with Epona Racing Stable as we host a night to celebrate the promise of the season and talk about ways to prepare for success on the track and at the windows,” said Mike DeAnzeris, President of EMBRACE THE RACE®, the lifestyle brand of apparel for horse racing fans and enthusiasts.

Scheduled guests include Michael Veitch, the racing columnist for The Saratogian and recent appointee to Senator Roy McDonald’s Racing Advisory Panel, and Bruce R. Brown who, at age 35, is one of the NYRA circuit’s rising young training stars, as evidenced by his third place finish in the trainer standings for the Aqueduct inner track meet.  Mike and Bruce will participate in a discussion that will include such topics as the history of, and benefits of conditioning horses over, Saratoga’s Oklahoma Training Track and its influence on the Triple Crown Class of 2011, how to uncover “hidden gems” at thoroughbred auctions and at the claiming box, the prospects for a brighter future for New York racing, and a 2011 Triple Crown outlook.

Following a “meet and greet” cocktail hour, guests will be encouraged to participate in an open dialogue with the panelists and will be entered for free giveaways for Saratoga Race Course clubhouse seats and EMBRACE THE RACE® apparel.  They can also learn more about racing partnerships with Epona Racing Stable.
